Dr. Deanna Jenner - Veterinarian

Dr. Deanna Jenner was born in Regina, Saskatchewan but moved to Kelowna BC with her family as a young girl.  She always had a passion for animals and after much persistence was able to talk her mother into first a pet dog, then a second.  Eventually her Mom lost control of the pet number in the house at which point cats, rabbits and horses became family members as well!

Deanna has always wanted to become a veterinarian as long as she can remember.  She attended Simon Fraser University in Burnaby BC where she fulfilled her pre-veterinary requirements, then reluctantly made the move back to Saskatchewan to attend the Western College of Veterinary Medicine.

Deanna graduated from the WCVM in 2009 with honours and promptly returned to the Okanagan Valley with her fiancé Dr Kai Ng.  Kai and Deanna live on a small acreage in the Kelowna area where they raise Swedish Warmblood and Paint horses.  They share their house with several cats and dogs but refuse to reveal exact numbers!

The training she has received has allowed her to follow another passion and last year she spent 3 weeks in Honduras and Guatemalla working for paramedics for children.

Growing up on a farm Amy has always loved the outdoors. She enjoys camping and fishing and loves to travel. Amy's goal is to explore the world.

Her dog “Annie” went with her to college and spent her retirement years with Cassie and her husband until she passed away in 2007. A cat “Spot” joined the family around that time as well. Cassie attended Olds College in Alberta where she received her Animal Health Technologist diploma graduating with honours in 2001.

Cassie has a loving husband and 2 wonderful young children and hopes to add a puppy to the family again sometime soon.
